Unity For Service
Welcome to The Exchange Club of West Chester. Through our programs of service, we make our communities better and strengthen the people in them. Our members are a network of people who are dedicated to volunteering their time and efforts to continue to serve in unity.
Our National Project –
The Prevention of Child Abuse
The National Exchange Club's national project, the Prevention of Child Abuse, was adopted in 1979. The Exchange Club of West Chester helps prevent child abuse in our communities by supporting The Exchange Club Family Center, serving Chester County families through education and community awareness, while promoting the well being of families and individuals. Parents of children in our communities learn practical parenting skills, how to build a strong family home, and steps to avoid child abuse and neglect.
The Covenant of Service
The Covenant of Service expresses Exchange's philosophy and ideals, which are shared by members and clubs accross the country.
- To consecrate my best energies to the uplifting of Social, Religious, Political and Business ideals; To discharge the debt I owe to those of high and low estate who have served and sacrificed that the heritage of American citizenship might be mine;
- To honor and respect law, to serve my fellowmen, and to uphold the ideals and institutions of my Country;
- To implant the life-giving, society-building spirit of Service and Comradeship in my social and business relationships;
- To serve in Unity with those seeking better conditions, better understandings, and greater opportunities for all.
Accepting the divine privilege of single and collective responsibility as life's noblest gift, I covenant with my fellow Exchangites:
